Christine O’Sullivan (21) is from Cork and lives in Limerick. She is single and has just completed third year Architecture in UL. She plans to now take some time out from her studies to learn more about her passion for cooking, to travel, explore and taste the beauty of culture and cuisine.

Christine grew up in a restaurant and found her passion for cooking from watching the chefs there. She gained knowledge and understanding of food from them, as well as her mother’s enthusiasm and skill for cooking. She also likes to teach herself with cookbooks and making notes. Christine’s goal and ambition is to design, run and work in her own restaurant where her personality can be shown through the food, decor and service. She says doing MasterChef would be a motivation to change her life.

She cooked Beef Carpaccio with roast butternut squash on dressed salad leaves to get into the audition stage. Her audition dish was Grilled fillet of steak with creamed white beans and leeks topped with crispy rosemary and lemon scented chips.
