Edward’s Festive Desserts

Develop your baking skills in the Festive Desserts feature with chef Edward Hayden. Over the weekend Edward will create a range of delicious desserts in his demonstration kitchen specialising in festive desserts to whet the appetit of visitors and give them some practical tips to employ in your home baking needs which are sure to impress family and friends.

Edward will cover the tools, techniques, tips and design ideas to get you started so you can enjoy making everything from the puddings and trifle to custom designed Christmas cakes and cupcakes.

Edward Hayden is a well-known chef and is very familiar to television and radio audiences from his cooking slots on TV3 Ireland AM and regular appearances on KCLR FM, as well as on the demonstration circuit. Having spent a number of years teaching cookery, Edward is currently undertaking a national cookery roadshow with the Irish Countrywomen’s Association. In May 2011 Edward’s best selling cookery book ‘Food to Love’ was published by The O’Brien Press. His recipes have been published in a number of leading Irish newspapers and magazine and Edward has a weekly ‘Dear Edward’ culinary column in the Evening Herald.
